Leeds Pug Cafe & Frenchie Cafe – Guest Information

Pug Cafe and Frenchie Cafe Leeds on 18th August are strictly booking only events. If you have a confirmed booking and are attending, please have a read of the following information prior to your visit! If you have any questions please Contact Us.

What to Expect

This will be the perfect chance to meet lots of friends – both furry and human – and as always it will be off-lead so you’ll be able to give your dog the chance to socialise in a safe space. We really do encourage you to take advantage of this and let your dog roam free as they’ll enjoy it so much more having the freedom to explore, sniff and play.

Inside our venue – Revolution Electric Press – you’ll find a menu dedicated to dogs that will include pupcakes, pupcorn, dognuts and lots more treats straight from Rudi’s The Doggy Baker. Plus, there will be free pupuccinos for every dog!

You’ll also enjoy plenty of fun photo opportunities so make sure your dog is camera-ready.

There will also be a human menu with a selection of delicious food and drinks including burgers, main meals, sweet treats and more. After 12pm, you can also enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails!

Breed Specific Time Slots

This event combines our two most popular events – Pug Cafe and Frenchie Cafe but don’t forget this is a breed specific event so each time slot is either for pugs or frenchies. We do not mix the breeds! The time slots are as follows:

11.15am – Pug

12.30pm – Frenchie

1.45pm – Pug

3pm – Frenchie

4.15pm – Pug

Dog Etiquette & Care

While we make every effort to ensure the venue is safe for your dog, please do keep a watch over them at the event as we cannot take responsibility of their care.

Please ensure your dog has peed and pooped prior to your time slot. If they have an accident and toilet inside the venue, we will have cleaning supplies and dog poo bags on hand for you to clean up after them.

We understand it may take a while for your dog to settle into this new environment, but if you feel your dog is really not enjoying the cafe experience then you are able to leave at any time – please just ask a member of staff to help you leave safely.

The cafe is a great chance to spoil your dog – this day is all about them! There will be lots of treats flying about, if your dog has food intolerances or you’d rather they didn’t get fed by anyone please borrow a ‘DO NOT FEED’ bandana from us upon arrival.

We also have ‘NERVOUS’ bandanas that you can borrow if your dog is a little bit anxious infront of strangers – this will let anyone know your dog may need a little space.

You must return these bandanas to us at the end of the time slot, as we will need them for other anxious dogs to use throughout the day too. Please do not take these home.

Weather & Temperature

It is expected to cloudy with highs of 18 degrees so not too hot, but please do take care when travelling to and from this event with your dog.

The venue has suitable temperature control (full air conditioning) and additional floor fans, but please do bring any cooling aids that will help keep your dog cool if needed.

We will have plenty of fresh water for the dogs, and will keep cooling mats and blankets on hand should your dog get over-heated.

Dog Lovers

Dog lovers really make our events super special and we really want you to enjoy this experience as much as possible! From past events we have found dog lovers really have a great time when they get as close to the action as possible so please don’t be afraid to sit on the floor and get involved – get down to their level and enjoy making friends.

Every dog attending is there with their owner so don’t be afraid to chat to people, it’s a great opportunity to get to know the breed first hand. If you’d like a stroke or a cuddle with their dog then just ask – most people love if you give their dog attention.

If a dog has a DO NOT FEED bandana on please do not feed them any treats even if they beg for it! Likewise, if they have a NERVOUS bandana on please give them more space.

Due to the unique nature of the event, if there are no-shows from owners there won’t be as many dogs as we had planned so please understand this is beyond our control.

Arrival at Our Event

You will enter the venue from the main entrance at Revolution Electric Press. You will be directed upon arrival as to where to queue so please get in line! We ask you do not arrive too early for your time slot as the time slot prior to yours will still be in action – we suggest 10 minutes arrival before your slot will be just fine.

Confirmation Email & Entering

The team will sign you in prior to the time slot starting so please wait in line and get your booking confirmation ready to present either on your phone or printed off. If you arrive late or need to leave early, please ask a team member to help you enter and leave safely. As there are dogs off lead inside, you should not open the doors alone.

Inside the Venue

We do not allocate tables to bookings as we find guests are happier selecting their own table that suits their party best – just tell the seater on arrival how many is in your party and we’ll suggest an appropriate table or seat.

Revolution Electric Press is a spacious, modern venue with a mix of high tables, booths and standard tables so please do select a seat that suits you and get comfy!

If you prefer not to sit at a high table, we suggest getting in the queue slightly earlier so you have a first pick of where to sit yourself. There will always be enough seating for everyone, but as some tables are for sharing you may have a neighbour – so make sure you introduce yourself! Our events are friendly and we encourage you to make friends.
